The Spain Exchange has been an biennial tradition at A.Y. Jackson since 2003. Every second year in September a group of students from Colegio Juan de Lanuza in Zaragoza, Spain arrive in Kanata and spend 10 days living with their exchange partners in our neighbourhood.
Our Spanish partner school reciprocates in the spring when a large contingent of AYJ students travel to Zaragoza and spend 10 days traveling throughout northeastern Spain, immersed in Spanish language and culture. This popular exchange has resulted in many lasting friendships and further educational opportunities in Europe for our students.
